Rapid City - Pet-Friendly National, State & Local Parks

Took our dog Snowball, to the lighting ceremony at Mount Rushmore last summer. She sat on my husband's lap and enjoyed watching the President's faces light up as much as we did. They were very accommodating. She was the only pet that we saw at the ceremony and she behaved perfectly. We were not approached by any Park Rangers. They only smiled as Snowball walked by them.
