Rapid City - Pet-Friendly Historic Sites

We really enjoy our stop at Crazy Horse Memorial and did not experience any problems walking around with our well behaved, 70lbs.lab. PET POLICY: Leashed pets are welcome at Crazy Horse Memorial in the outside common areas, including the viewing veranda and the roofed "original lobby" leading to it. Pets are allowed inside any of the buildings, with the exception of the restaurant and snack shop, but must be carried or otherwise contained. We ask that owners take responsibility for cleaning up after their pets. No pets are allowed in the food service areas or on the bus rides to the bottom of the mountain. Service animals are permitted in all areas.
