Delray Beach - Pet-Friendly National, State & Local Parks

In Delray Beach, FL there is Lake Ida Park. They have an area sectioned off for dogs. One side is for large (over 30 lbs) and one side is for smaller dogs (although dogs over 30 lbs ahve been found in the small dogs section, I have a Bassett Hound and we go in the small side). It is fairly new, so the trees have not gotten very tall yet. Water is provided but bring bowls to put it in. There are some benches, showers to rinse off the dofs, and bags are provided. It is requested that owners clean up after their dogs. It is open every day, althuogh it is closed Thursday afternoons (I think) for maintenance. It is located off of I-95. The Atlantic Blvd exit.
