The Dog Park At the north end of Canyon View Park, is located the Canyon View Dog Park, across the driveway and north of the softball field complex. The area is enclosed by a 6’ chain link fence with two separate double gated entry points and is approximately 3.2 acres seperated into two areas for small/senior and large/active dogs. The east point is for more active and larger dogs. The west area is for those small, senior, or shy dogs. . Each entry point allows an owner to leash and unleash their dog within a secure area. It has been proven very important that prior to them entering the off-leash area, for the dogs to be unleashed in order to avoid fights and conflicts. Such conflicts are common when the dog is on leash. Also, the multiple entry points allow for a dog to enter the park away from other dogs and avoid immediate situations within the park.
