Pet-Friendly National/State/Local Park in Mystic, Connecticut

Description - Bluff Point is located along the Connecticut coastline. You can walk from the parking lot to Bluff Point along the Long Island Sound along a wide, level cart road. It's approximately 1.6 miles long. There is a beach along the way Bushy Point Beach but dogs are not permitted from mid-April through mid-September birds nesting . You will also find the Poquonnock River, and your pup can certainly swim there. There are also side trails on the way back to the parking lot that can take almost 4 miles, some of which run along railroad tracks.
